White Oak Farm is a historic piece of property that has been in the same family of Italian immigrants for over 150 years.
The DiCio Family named the farm White Oak in honor of a large, white oak tree that dominates the front field.
These 46 beautiful acres features three houses, three sparkling ponds, a chicken coop and wood shop.
A portion of the Rachel Carson Trail runs through the property. This is a 35.7-mile hiking trail named in honor of marine biologist and pioneering conservationist Rachel Carson (1907-1964) who grew up in the area.
The barn --- original to the farm --- has been restored by a group of traditional Christians known as Amish. The barn and surrounding space is sometimes used as a location for events.
