Description
The Center For Reiki & The Healing Arts is a holistic healing and wellness center with a focus on the therapeutic holistic services which address the indidivual's physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs.
Developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui (1865-1926), Reiki is a spiritual practice that uses a technique commonly called "hands on healing" as a form of alternative medicine therapy. Practitioners believe that they are transferring universal energy which allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium.
The center is located in a contemporary, two-story office building in Castle Shannon, a suburb located south of Pittsburgh.
