Village Square Park is a community green space in the city's West End Village neighborhood.
West End Village lies in a small valley south of the Ohio River and less than a mile from downtown Pittsburgh. It was originally an independent town called Temperanceville which was annexed to Pittsburgh in 1872. The neighborhood is being transformed into European-styled village with many creative businesses.
That transformation is being spearheaded by the West Pittsburgh Partnership For Regional Development, a nonprofit community development corporation founded in 1985.
The park is open 24 hours a day.
On-street parking is available.
