In operation since 1937, serves and enhances the lives of individuals and families of the local community by providing social, educational, professional and recreational activities through program development, fundraising and partnering with other local organizations.
Sewickley is a small town of about 4,000 people northeast of Pittsburgh. Sewickley is an Indian word for "Sweet Water" and has a history that dates back to the mid 1700's, with the first written mention of Sewickley dated December 31, 1767. The municipality was founded in 1853.
The Sewickley Community Center maintains a baseball field, indoor basketball courts, community garden, food pantry, tennis/volleyball court and an outdoor pool.
