Completed in 1967, the Greater Latrobe Junior-Senior High School provides a diverse range of education programs for students in and near Latrobe, a small town of 10,000 people in rural Westmoreland County that is famous in the region as the home to the Latrobe Brewing Company.
The school building was renovated in 2004 resulting in a state-of-the-art educational facility incorporating the best academic and technological initiatives currently available.
One of the most unique features of the senior high school is the original art collection of more than 185 works that line the halls and corridors of the building. The collection, started over 60 years ago, is entirely student-selected, and, for the most part, student-purchased. It is one of the finest collections of 20th and 21st century Southwestern Pennsylvania art on display.
The school's impressive auditorium is used for various programs and performances.
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Free, on-site parking is available.
