Description

The Pacific Sanctuary is a former church that has been converted into a community center owned and operated by Earthen Vessels Outreach.

Earthen Vessels Outreach is a Christ-centered organization that seeks to build social, racial and economic bridges to connect communities, organizations and people in the city neighborhoods of Bloomfield, Garfield and Friendship.

Pacific Sanctuary began as United Presbyterian congregation in 1895. The stately sandstone building changed hands and had fallen into disuse and disrepair by 2003.

Facilities include the 3,500-square-foot Main Room ideal for meetings, banquets, concerts, parties and gatherings of all types. It is equipped with audio and video equipment, air conditioning, and a variety of options for tables and chairs. There are also four smaller meeting rooms, a kitchen and offices for Earthen Vessels Outreach.

Hours of operation

Earthen Vessels Outreach's offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or by appointment.

The facility is also open for scheduled program and events.
