Description

Saltworks is a non-profit professional arts company which addresses the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of children, youth and families through the creation and performance of contemporary dramatic works. Saltworks was founded on the belief that lives can be positively changed through the power of live theater. Just as salt seasons and preserves food, Saltworks endeavors to flavor life and foster wholesome adventures that can last a lifetime.

For over 25 years, Saltworks has offered family theater, school assemblies on social issues (such as bullying, internet safety, substance abuse, peer pressure) performed as Educational Dramas, actor training in 2 locations (North Hills and Oakland), church plays and more.

Saltworks offices and primary performance space is located in a building adjacent to the Church Of The Ascension, an impressive Gothic structure that includes a fellowship hall for church and community events. Saltwork's theater comfortably seats 150 people with access on Neville Street.
