Founded in 1923, the East Bethlehem Township Volunteer Fire Company (EBTVFC) provides fire and emergency services to rural communities in southwestern Washington County.
These include the towns of East Bethlehem, Fredericktown, Vestaburg, Millsboro Williamstown, Besco, Sandy Plains and Vesta Heights.
The company is based inside a simple cinder block building that houses the equipment, offices and a flexible hall used for a variety of community and charity events.
Whether it is a structure fire, car accident, river or rail emergency, flood, search & rescue, scuba and swift water rescue and serious medical emergencies EBTVFC's committed volunteers jump into action without raising a question, giving up their valuable family and free time to help anyone in need.
