Located along the Monongahela River, the McKees Point Marina is a stunning place to dock boats of various sizes with 182 slips.
One of the marina's key facilities is a cafe with a nautical theme including a large mural of sea life on the walls. The marina also features a waterfront amphitheater, boat launch, picnic areas and walking trail.
Both McKee's Point and the town McKeesport were named in 1769 after its first settler, a ferry operator named David McKee. The town was laid out in 1795 by his son John. A former center for steel production, McKeesport is located south of Pittsburgh at the confluence of the Monongahela and Youghiogheny Rivers.
Daily, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. when the marina is open and 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on other days. Call for more information.
The marina has its own parking lot, and some on-street parking is also available.
