James Street Gastropub & Speakeasy is a family owned bar and restaurant comitted to continuing Pittsburgh's rich jazz heritage.
The restaurant is located inside a handsome, three-story red brick building constructed in the late 1800s. Guests enter to discover a classy, sophisticated yet casual atmosphere featuring high ceilings and orginal woodwork.
The main floor showcases a magnificent mahogany bar with two 60" high definition televisions, cozy booths for two and adjoining dining room. Music lovers follow the sweet sound of live jazz to the downstairs speakeasy where they can relax tableside at the stage, in a booth or at a full service bar.
The Gastropub serves home-style food with a twist, such as jazzed up meatloaf with sweet cream sauce or Angus Beef burger and wings.
Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Friday & Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Free, on-site parking is available as well as free parking at street meters after 7:00 p.m.
