Description

First United Methodist Church Of Pittsburgh is one of the city's leading and most progressive faith communities.

Affirming that God's grace is available to all, the congregation prayerfully welcomes all of God's children, regardless of Christian perspective, education, economic condition race, gender, national origin, physical and mental abilities, sexual orientation, age or marital status. The church is committed to be in ministry for and with all persons, independent of society's regard. God blesses us all so that together we can be God's instruments of blessing to the world.

Members and guests gather in a magnificent, historic stone Gothic structure featuring an impressive sanctuary along with class/meeting rooms, nursery, pre-school, kindergarden and the multipurpose Fellowship Hall.

The church's grounds feature a beautiful memorial garden serving as a sanctuary to remember the legacy of members of the congregation, their families and loved ones.
