Description

The Sardis Volunteer Fire Company has been serving the community of Murrysville since 1957.

Murrysville is a town of 18,000 people in Westmoreland County founded in 1788. The community consists of single family and multi-family dwellings, commerical, industrial, manufacturing and three 24-hour nursing homes. Sardis is one of three volunteer fire companies serving Murrysville.

Inside the simple cinder-block building is a well-equipped banquet facility that specializes in special occasions and corporate events. Called the Sardis Room, it is a completely smoke-free, air conditioned space that can accommodate 250 guests.

A beautiful gazebo and landscaped area is also available outside for ceremonies and pictures.
