Description

The Teutonia Männerchor is a private membership club begun in 1854 with the purpose of furthering choral singing, German cultural traditions and good fellowship.

Constructed in 1888, the club house is a large, handsome building reflecting the organization's German heritage and mission. It includes a hall for various events and programs.

After World War I, the basement was converted into an authentic German Ratskeller, a bar/restaurant found in many public buildings throughout German speaking countries.

The club features a number of heritage activities and celebrations, including choral singing in German and folk dancing.
