Commonly known as Uptown, the business district for the town of Mount Lebanon runs along Washington Road from Castle Shannon Boulevard to just past Shady Drive West.
Mount Lebanon is one of Pittsburgh's more affluent suburbs. The first settlers arrived in the early 1770s and was largely a farming community until the end of the 19th century as the population started to grow with the arrival of street car. The town was incorporated in 1912.
A variety of architecture is represented in the district, which is home to dozens of shops, restaurants and offices. Many events are produced by the Mt. Lebanon Partnership and the Uptown Business Association.
Varies per business.
There are multiple garages and lots available in the district. For more specific information, call (412) 343-3400.
