Pittsburgh's only predominantly African-American Episcopal parish, The Church Of The Holy Cross provides a unique worship experience that combines the portrait and tradition of Anglican worship with the exclusive history and richness of an African-American church.

The Episcopal Church is a mainline Christian demonination found mainly in the United States. It is part of the Anglican Communion, a network of churches affiliated with the Church Of England. The Episcopal Church often embraces progressive ideas even as it respects Christian tradition.

The restored, historic Church Of The Holy Cross is a handsome but welcoming stone structure with beautiful arches, high ceilings and other interesting elements that reflect a rich past and a promising future.

A friendly and loving congregation, they strive for peace and to share with you the generous hospitality and grace that God shows to those seeking to know Him.

Hours of operation

The church office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
