Herbalicious is a one-stop specialty grocer for all your gluten-free and allergen-free needs.

Gluten is a protein composite that appears in foods processed from wheat and related species, including barley and rye. It gives elasticity to dough, helping it to rise and to keep its shape, and often giving the final product a chewy texture. However, some people have a sensitivity to gluten due to coeliac disease, an autoimmune disorder of the small intestine that occurs in genetically predisposed people of all ages from middle infancy onward.

Herbalicious has the largest inventory of gluten-free foods in the area, both dry goods and frozen items. In addition, they have an in-store dedicated gleten-free kitchen that provides gluten-free and other allergen-free baked items for the store including: customer favorite French bread; Artisan bread and rolls; cookies; cakes; sweet breads and more.

Beyond the charming, storybook facade in the historic Allison Building, Herbalicious often hosts Workshops, classes and coeliac support groups.
