Located above Construction Junction is a multi-purpose 4,000 square foot gallery and performance space called simply The Space Upstairs.
Construction Junction is Pittsburgh's only non-profit building material reuse retailer and also hosts the City's most active recycling site. Their mission is to support and promote conservation through the reuse of building materials.
The resident company for The Space Upstairs is the postmodern-jazz dance company Pillow Project. Created in 2004 by founding Artistic Director Pearlann Porter, the Pillow Project creates performances with vivid color and visuals within a setting of live music and urban art that is casual and spontaneous.
The entrance is the black door opposite Thomas Blvd, not through Construction Junction's main entrance.
