Tana is an authentic Ethiopian restaurant that serves exquisite and authentic cuisine from one of the oldest countries in the world, one with three thousand years of history, thirteen months of sunshine and home of the earliest known humans.
The menu offers a great variety of entrés featuring dishes made of beef, chicken and lamb, as well as the vegetarian’s delights such as vegetables, split peas, lentils and salad. They use herbs and spices imported directly from Ethiopia in all of the dishes to create a unique taste.
Tana's decor celebrates Ethiopia, will walls painted in sunny colors and featuring travel posters and attractive woven straw items.
Dining takes place in a communal setting, where guests eat out of a common plate using their hands and where no utensils are provided --- except for the non-initiated and the non-adventurous, upon request. These shared tables are covered with white cloths enlivened by embroidered folk patterns.
