A tenant of the Galleria At Pittsburgh Mills, Blue Olive Galleries specializes in local art in a welcoming environment where artists often set up an easel to work on their masterpieces.

The Galleria is a 1,100,000-square-foot indoor mall divided into five themed "neighborhoods" corresponding to various Pittsburgh landmarks and cultural icons. Major tenants include H&M, Macy's (formerly Kaufmann's), Victoria's Secret, Limited Too and American Eagle Outfitters.

From oils to acrylics, to watercolors, jewelry, sculpture, mosaics and photography are the work of about 25 local artists --- some internationally acclaimed --- that are showcased at the gallery.

Blue Olive often offers art classes and whose owner encourages local art teachers to display their students' work.

Sunday, Noon to 6:00 p.m.
Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
