Housed in a former tavern, Hot Metal Bridge is an alternative Christian worship community created as a joint project of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the United Methodist Church.
Communion, community and conversation are all vital elements of who Hot Metal is as a church. Hot Metal applies reason along with scripture in its theology, welcoming every Christian regardless of gender, race, nationality or sexual orientation.
The unique, narrow facility features a worship space shaped like a heart to bring people closer to each other. Rock concerts, short plays and other forms of creative expression are key elements in Hot Metal's services.
During their weekly meals --- which can be everything from tacos to soup --- members and guests seek to create authentic, intimate relationships with one another and with God
Hot Metal also has a patio where believers can meet and mingle and share their experiences.
The office is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On-site parking with space for 23 cars is available. The entrance is on 27th Street.
