Message Carriers Of Pennsylvania is
a treatment and recovery dedicated to the fundamental belief that those suffering from alcohol or drug dependency, as well as their families, should have the same rights and privileges as all people.
The organization is a derivative of The Society Of Americans For Recovery (SOAR), which was founded by the late Senator Harold E. Hughes (1922-1996). SOAR was a grass-roots organization of concerned people from all walks of life. Message Carriers Of Pennsylvania starts where SOAR left off.
