Blackberry Meadows Farm

Description

Blackberry Meadows Farm is an 85-acre farm in rural Allegheny County that first obtained its Certified Organic status in 1992. The farm was also the first in the region to offer shares as part of a Community Support Agriculture (CSA), which is similar to a farm food cooperative.

Under organic production, the use of conventional non-organic pesticides, insecticides and herbicides is greatly restricted and saved as a last resort.

This beautiful location features a pond, barn, greenhouses and a large field that can be tented for events.
