One of only two independent college bookstores remaining in Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University Bookstore sells everything from textbooks to clothing, gifts, art supplies and even electronics.
Carnegie-Mellon University (CMU) was founded in 1900 by industrialist Andrew Carnegie as the Carnegie Technical School (it became CMU in 1967). Throughout its long history, the college has focused on education and research.
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Parking is available at the East Campus Garage,which is free after 5:00 p.m. weeknights and on weekends
