Located on what would otherwise be vacant land at Station Square, the ampitheatre an outdoor music pavilion with seating for up to 6,000 people.
Station Square is a complex of renovated railroad buildings, including the former headquarters of the Pennsylvania & Lake Erie Railroad. Its adaptive reuse was the signature project of the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation.
Set at the confluence of the three rivers with breathtaking views of the city skyline, Station Square is the area's most unique shopping, dining and entertainment destination.
Some of the music world's biggest acts perform at the ampitheatre each spring and summer, where patrons can also enjoy a variety of food vendors.
Other facilities at Station Square include the Funnybone comedy club a Hard Rock Cafe and the dock for the Gateway Clipper Fleet.
The box office is open weekdays, Noon to 4:00 p.m.
