Opened in 1992, Veterans Place Of Washington Boulevard is a facility to help U.S. military veterans establish a new life with dignity after they have fallen by the way.
Transitional housing is a major component and can provide up to 48 veterans with a temporary home.
The state-of-the-art 6000 sq. ft. facility provides various services and amenities such as a library, exercise room, day room, music appreciation, on-site job and life skill training via the Veterans Leadership Program, and drug and alcohol support counseling.
The organization is staffed almost exclusively by volunteers, most of whom are veterans.
The office is open weekdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Free, on-site parking is available.
