Henry Kaufmann Family Recreation Park

Description

Dedicated in 1969, the Henry Kaufmann Family Recreation Park is a 100-acre, recreational site that hosts a number of public events througout the season.

It is owned and operated by the Jewish Community Center Of Pittsburgh, which offers hundreds of programs and classes for people of all ages at locations inside and outside the city.

The park's main feature is an Olympic-size, 50-meter pool with depths up to 12 feet. There is also a baby pool, shaded areas for lounging, trails, camping sites and courts for playing basketball and volleyball.

Hours of operation

Open Memorial Day to Labor Day each year, from dawn to dusk.
