Description

Since 1936, this community library has been committed to serving the needs of Crafton, suburb of 7,000 people west of Pittsburgh.

In addition to a useful collection of bestsellers and timely and informative non-fiction, the library has several special collections. It owns a sizable large print collection, as well as a popular selection of movies on DVD and video tape. Books on audio tape and CD are increasingly popular and we have an up-to-date assortment of Young Adult novels.

The library's eight public computers allow people to learn, work and play. In additon, the entire building also has free wireless internet access.

The recently expanded space now includes a children's room with all sorts of fun activities, from felt boards to puzzles to puppet shows. There is a small meeting room attached which is available to non-profit and student groups.

Hours of operation

Monday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday through Thursday, Noon to 8:00 p.m.
Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
