St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church was founded in 1906 when many of the first Ukrainian immigrants made their way to Pittsburgh.
The majestic red brick building is located on the corner of Helen and Ella Street in the bottom section of McKees Rocks.
Part of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Of The United States, St. Mary's often has events open to the public, especially a weekly "Pyrohy" sale held each Friday from Labor Day to Memorial day, and a popular annual Ukrainian Food & Fun festival held each year the last full week of July.
