Pittsburgh Heat is a 1,200-square-foot competitive hip-hop dance studio.

Hip hop as a cultural movement manifest in breakdancing, graffiti writing, DJing and MCing originally born out of the creative impulse and cultural improvisation of the oppressed African American, Afro-Caribbean and Latino American communities of New York City in the late 1970s.

They have teams and classes for ages 4 years old to adult. The teams compete nationally, winning 1st place trophy's and national titles. In addition to competitions, Pittsburgh Heat dances for events, concerts and music videos.
