Pittsburgh Heat is a 1,200-square-foot competitive hip-hop dance studio.
Hip hop as a cultural movement manifest in breakdancing, graffiti writing, DJing and MCing originally born out of the creative impulse and cultural improvisation of the oppressed African American, Afro-Caribbean and Latino American communities of New York City in the late 1970s.
They have teams and classes for ages 4 years old to adult. The teams compete nationally, winning 1st place trophy's and national titles. In addition to competitions, Pittsburgh Heat dances for events, concerts and music videos.
With over 20 years experience in the dance and cheer industry, owner Brenna Jaworski choreographs intense up to date routines for not only Pittsburgh Heat, but for other dance companies, school and cheer gyms throughout Pennsylvania.
