Founded in 1929, the Greensburg Art Club provides educational and networking opportunities for artists via classes, meetings and other events.
In 1955 the organization bought a historic, two-room public school east of Greensburg. It is officially called the the Alex Fletcher Memorial Art Center in honor of a local artist.
An exhibition space, called the Rowe Gallery, was added to the center and is used for various programs.
