The ToonSeum is one of only three museums in the United States dedicated exclusively to the cartoon arts.
Their goal is to promote a deeper appreciation of the cartoonists and their work through hands-on workshops, community outreach, cartoon-oriented educational programming and exhibitions of original cartoon art.
ToonSeum is housed inside the Bruno Building, a tall, long and skinny 7-story warehouse that has been converted into a mixture of commercial and residential use.
The museum's 1,000 square feet of includes a permanent gallery and a space dedicated to local and independent artists as well as educational programs.
