Anderson Amphitheater is an outdoor covered venue on the campus of Westminster College.
Founded in 1852, Westminster College is considered one of the finest and most affordable liberal arts colleges in the United States. It is located in the rural Lawrence County town of New Wilmington with a population of 2,400.
Anderson Amphitheater can comforably accommated over 1200 people who can enjoy a variety of performances from the large, concrete stage. It was built in 1955.
The ampitheater is operated by Ohio-based Rising Sun Entertainment & Productions and owned by the New Wilmington Mission Conference (NWMC). Every year for more than a century, the NWMC looks to deepen the missionary spirit with a week of programs at the ampitheater.
