The store specializes in miniature wargaming, a hobby dedicated to the play of simulated military battles. Wargames are generally categorized as historical, hypothetical, fantasy or science fiction. Historical games are by far the largest group.

Legions is located in the Pines Plaza, a 187,000 square foot shopping center anchored by a Shop 'N Save grocery store.
