A pioneer in comedy clubs, the Improv began in 1963 in New York City to provide a venue for aspiring talent to showcase their gifts before audiences and the entertainment industry. Today, there are over a dozen Improv clubs across the country.
Pittsburgh's Improv is located at the Waterfront, a rehabilitated former industrial site that is now a shopping, business and entertainment complex.
Varies, but the door usually opens an hour before each show.
The Waterfront provides free parking.
