Pittsburgh, PA 15222 [ map ] [ website ]

What is now called EQT Tower & Plaza, was built in 1987 as CNG Tower and is one of the city's premier office buildings.

The tower is a very modern 32-story building with a respectful nod to Art Deco architecture. Its plaza features very realistic sculptures of people in various positions and is surrounded by a handsome wrought iron fence. The anchor tenant is EQT Corporation, which takes up 12 floors.

Originally founded as Equitable Gas Company in 1888, EQT Corporation is an integrated energy company, supplying natural gas, crude oil, and gas-related services to wholesale and retail customers.
