Based in Deerfield, Illinois, Walgreens is one of the three largest drug store chains in the United States. It was founded in 1901 Chicago by Charles R. Walgreen (1873-1939).

Each Walgreens is a bright, spacious drug store whose primary colors are blue and white.

This branch is located in the still-developing urban retail project called East Side Mall. It includes a pharmacy drive-thru, a mini clinic and a Cafe W coffee shop.
