The vision of St. Paul Of The Cross Retreat Center is to enable every heart to experience the compassionate love of God.
The Catholic center is named after Paul Francis Daneo (1694-1775), who taught people how to pray and meditate upon the suffering and death of Jesus; he was later recognized as a saint. Paul's followers became known as Passionates.
An extension of the Saint Paul Of The Cross Monastery, the center is part of a complex of buildings that stand on a hilltop overlooking the Southside of Pittsburgh.
