Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church was founded by Greek immigrants to Pittsburgh in 1923 and moved to its present location in 1959. It is currently an active and vibrant community of Orthodox Christians from a variety of backgrounds and is part of the Greek Orthodox Church In America.
Greek Orthodox Church In America (OCA) is an extension of the Eastern Orthodox Church, the second largest single Christian communion in the world with an estimated 300 million members worldwide. The OCA dates back to 1794 with the arrival of Russian monks to Alaska.
Holy Trinity is housed in a visually stunning, contemporary building whose interior is decorated with magnificent frescos and icons. They also operate an on-site community center which is available for rental with seating for up to 450 people.
The office is open weekdays, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
On street parking is available. There is a small lot adjacent to the church accessed by Sherman Avenue.
Another parking lot located directly behind the church and is open on Sundays and for certain events free of charge.
