Mario's Southside Saloon is a smoke-free sports bar and restaurant especially popular with the college crowd. It is part of a two-bar local chain with another location in Shadyside.

Decorated with beautiful wood paneling, Mario's has offers balcony seating, a large bar and big windows overlooking East Carson Street. Local bands and musicians sometimes peform for the patrons.

Mario's also has an adjacent bar called Blue Lou's that allows smoking.
