American Legion Post 82 is the branch of the national American Legion in suburban Carnegie.
Founded in 1919 by veterans returning from Europe after World War I, the American Legion was chartered by the U.S. Congress as a patriotic, mutual-help, wartime veterans organization of the United States armed forces.
This simple, cinder block building features a multipurpose room decorated with momentos where various events are held.
