Founded in 1951, the Pine-Richland Youth Center (PYRC) is a non-profit organization that provides a safe and wholesome place in the core of a boundary-less community where children, youth, adults and seniors gather to enjoy an enhanced quality of life.
The center is devoted to providing quality programs and a resource for the facilitation of sports, recreation, social and educational experiences for the positive development of the youth and to enhance the quality of life for the adults and seniors in the community.
Facilities in the simple, one-story building include a 7,600-square-foot field house; 2,600-square-foot gymn; baseball field (with pavilion); computer room; 980-square-foot multi-purpose room; 1,600-square-foot pre-school hall; and 600-square-foot meeting room.
The center's hours vary with the season.
From September to April:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
From May to August:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to Noon
The PRYC has an "upper" and "lower" parking lot with parking across from the building in the "Mars Bank" plaza parking lot.
The building is handicapped accessible with handicap parking.
