Description

Opened in 1969, Monroeville Mall is a large, two-level, 1.4 million square-foot shopping mall --- and the second largest retail complex in the region.

The mall is most famous for its appearance in George A. Romero's 1978 horror film "Dawn Of The Dead".

Today, it is anchored by the Macy's and JC Penny department stores. A special feature is the Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Playstation, a place for kids to have fun in a fabulous setting. It is inspired by the classic children's TV series "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" (1968-2001).
