Mount Lebanon United Lutheran Church was founded in 1925 and is one of the 11,000 congregations of the 5.3 million member Evangelical Lutheran Church In America.
The church's impressive contemporary architecture is comprised of handsome red brick with an arched portico entry and a large, beautiful pipe organ behind the altar in the 300 seat sanctuary.
The church also has a large social hall with kitchen facilities, and an education wing with 10 classrooms and choir room.
Formed in 1988, the Evangelical Lutheran Church In America (ELCA) is a mainline Protestant denomination headquartered in Chicago that is very progressive and open minded on many issues.
The church office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
