The Penguin Bookshop is an independent local bookstore operating in the heart of Sewickley since 1929.
They offer an extensive selection of books for all ages, as well as book-related gifts, cards, newspapers and magazines.
The Penguin features over 20,000 titles on two floors. The first floor offers adult fiction and non-fiction books with special focus areas that include business, biography, history, personal growth, reference, regional interest, sports and travel. This floor also offers a wide and varied selection of newspapers and magazines. The Second floor, "Munchkins' Loft", offers your favorite children's books from the classics you read as a child to the most popular you're now eager to read to your grand children. The wide selection of children's books includes graphic novels, Manga, young adult, special needs and parenting titles.
Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Metered parking is available on Beaver Street as well as behind the store.
