The Pennsylvania Hypnosis Center offers health related seminars and individualized programs in three treatment rooms that are used for individualized programs and one large room that is used for seminars, workshops and training.
Hypnosis is a distinctive, often trance-like mental state that is induced by an organized pattern of suggestions, usually verbal in nature, beginning with the suggestion of relaxation. The suggestions may be directly induced by a hypnotist in the presence of the subject, but may be also be self-induced.
The center is located inside a handsome two-story colonial style professional office building that is part of the Capital Hill Office Park.
