Penn Hills Municipal Building is the local government building which houses the Penn Hills Police Department, the Penn Hills EMT's, the Parks and Recreation Department, the Department of Planning and Economic Development, the Department of Code Enforcement, the Finance Department,the Controller's Office, the Purchasing Department and the Manager's Office.

Penn Hills is a suburb of 47,000 people located northeast of Pittsburgh that was founded as the name Adams in 1850.

Penn Hills Council Chambers is also located in the Municipal Building and the monthly meetings of the Penn Hills Mayor and Council are held in this room as well as other various municipal meetings.
