Founded in 1924, the Bower Hill Volunteer Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency response services to the residents of Scott Township.
Their current building was constructed in 1954 and has had several additions since. It is a simple, two-story structure with space for offices, three fire engines and other vehicles.
The second floor hall has a capacity of 280 people and is often used for various community events, including parties, receptions, dances, fund raisers and meetings.
