Steel Valley High School began as a merger between Munhall and Homestead high schools in 1979. Today the school services the three communities of Munhall, Homestead, and West Homestead. With the opening of the Waterfront shopping and entertainment district, the future of the Steel Valley is promising.
Among the facilities is the Steel Valley High School Theater, a 700-seat fully air conditioned theater serving the needs of the Steel Valley Drama Club throughout the school year and Paradox Productions Theatre Group during the summer months.
The school is open weekdays 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. during the school year and 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m in the summer.
Free, on-site parking is available.
