White Oak Park is a 810-acre county park not far from Allegheny County's border with Westmoreland County. It is known for its trillium, wildflowers and particular types of groundcover that have attracted the attention of botanists from around the region.
Facilities include a playground, walking trails, dog park, a collection of sheltered and unsheltered groves and an "all purpose" field that can be used for a variety of events.
The park's office is open weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
