An affiliate of Gilda's Club Worldwide, this is a meeting place offering free social and emotional support (lectures, workshops, support groups and more) for men, women, teens and children living with cancer, along with their families and friends.
Gilda's Club Worldwide is named in tribute to the late comic actress Gilda Radner (TV's "Saturday Night Live"), who died of ovarian cancer in 1989. It was founded in New York City by Joanna Bull, Gilda Radner's cancer psychotherapist during the time she had cancer, Radner's husband Gene Wilder and broadcaster Joel Siegel.
